The flexibility to meet her where she is at is part if the beauty of homeschooling. This girl started it all when she was taking chapter books with her to her public school Kindergarten class.

Welcome to Monday in our homeschool! It’s fun to see what real life looks like for someone else, so come take a peek inside a normal day for us. We are in our 5th year of homeschool, this year we have 4th grade, 3rd grade, and Kindergarten going on. Our homeschool this year includes online classes, family subjects, special needs.
Recently, we went to the beach with several other families. My daughter was so excited to see her friends, but I wasn’t sure if she would recognize them when they met because, although they play together regularly, but have never seen each other’s faces. You see, we were meeting up with families from an online homeschool community based around Minecraft.
Lynn, my oldest, is starting 4th grade in a few short weeks. She is 9 right now and is Gifted. This year we are trying out virtual classes for her. Here are this year’s choices for her!
The beauty of homeschooling is we can find ways to include our children’s passions in our learning. That means finding ways to include even their computer games in school. All 3 of my kids live and breathe Minecraft.
