    Welcome to Monday in our homeschool! It’s fun to see what real life looks like for someone else, so come take a peek inside a normal day for us.   We are in our 5th year of homeschool, this year we have 4th grade, 3rd grade, and Kindergarten going on. Our homeschool this year includes online classes, family subjects, special needs.

    Mid-year changes for 4th, 3rd and Kindergarten

    Our school year is half over and in many ways it feels like it flew by and also went at a snail’s pace.  Either way, here we are at the mid-point evaluating our initial plans.  We tried several new things this year, many of which worked great! A few things worked not so well.    We started the year with doing more online classes, a new local drop off co-op, and have one in public school.  So let’s see how each student is doing.

    Recently, we went to the beach with several other families.  My daughter was so excited to see her friends, but I wasn’t sure if she would recognize them when they met because, although they play together regularly, but have never seen each other’s faces. You see, we were meeting up with families from an online homeschool community based around Minecraft.
