Announcing the Taylor Made Homeschooling Conference!
One of the hobbies I picked up in 2020 was sewing. I had quilted before, but I started sewing clothes for myself and my family. I started innocently enough with trying to make a simple t-shirt and ended up sewing half my kids summer wardrobe that year.

When shopping, it can be hard to find the right fit in clothes for your body, but when I started sewing for myself I found that I could make minor changes to the pattern so everything I made fit my body and tastes perfectly. It’s hard to go back when you know you can get a custom fit every time.
So what does this have to do with homeschooling?
We started using an all in one curriculum until it didn’t work for us anymore. So then we started swapping out different elements: this book was boring to our family, this perspective was too one-sided. The math wasn’t a challenge, or the writing was too rigorous. Instead of pushing through because it was what the schedule said we should do, we changed it. We are teaching our kids outside of the one size fits all public school environment, so why should we expect a one size homeschool curriculum to fit our child instead?
We will be diving into these very topics June 2-4 at the Taylor Made Homeschooling Virtual Conference. You will find sessions all about how to homeschool in a way that perfectly fits your unique family. Whether you are a single parent, working parent or homeschooling special needs kids, homeschooling is possible and we have sessions to show you how it can work for you.

Session Topics Include
- Homeschooling Littles
- Homeschooling High School
- Special Needs Homeschooling
- Homeschooling Multi-Aged Children
- Working and Homeschooling
- Marriage and Homeschool
- Getting Started Homeschooling
- Homeschooling As a Single Parent
In addition to the 30+ sessions you will find 6 LIVE Panel discussions on the schedule to get your questions answered directly from the speakers as we discuss these common homeschool misconceptions and debunk the myths.
Every attendee will receive a digital swag bag with practical helpful tools for you to Tailor Fit your homeschool. Attendees also are invited to join the conference Facebook group as we keep the conversation going and encourage one another as we find our perfect fit homeschooling.
I’ll be speaking in three different sessions in addition to being on some of the panel discussions.
