Last weekend he requested new handwriting pages based on our family’s new favorite TV show, the Mandalorian. He helped me make these by using his amazing memory skills to compile many of quotes and phrases used in the Mandalorian Handwriting Set.
There are some instances where it can be helpful to be homeschooling with an IEP, and there are some pitfalls and downsides that you may run into if you pursue getting one. The value of pursuing a homeschool IEP will vary depending on your circumstances and location.
Math is a hard subject because it’s so important and there are so many options. We have tried a few different programs over the years and have a few favorites. We also have one student with a learning disability in math which affects which programs suit their learning. There are times when each of my students is using a different program for math, because different ones suit their individual needs and strengths.
