Many families are looking at homeschooling for the first time right now, due to the pandemic health crisis. This week, I had the chance to chat with Fox Illinois about the surge of interest in homeschooling. There are many options being presented by each school district, and each family must make tough choices about how education will look for their family in the coming year. You may one of the families looking at taking control of your students learning for the first time and jumping into homeschooling.
On Monday July 20th, I’ll be live on Facebook sharing how to get started and answering your questions during this unique time. We’ve been on the homeschooling journey for over 6 years so join me and get your questions answered. You can save the event HERE so you get reminders.
I’ll be sharing the best way to leave your current school and some tips about starting well. We have had some challenging moments along the way but it has been very rewarding, and we wouldn’t do it any other way. I’ll share insight to some of the challenges we faced and what we have learned along the way, including how to navigate learning disabilities, working at grade level and IEPs.
See you on my Facebook page. Inside Our Normal.
